Haselgrove Wines was established in 1981. Over a game of cards in 2008, Italian Australian wine industry veterans Don Totino, Don Luca, Steve Maglieri and Tony Carrocci decided to purchase the winery, completely revamping the business.

The McLaren Vale vineyard is planted to Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mataro. In addition to their own vineyard, Haselgrove Wines have strong relationships with growers throughout McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills. These disparate sites allow the winemaking to knit together a tapestry of styles and flavours by blending small parcels. Haselgrove Wines produce hand crafted, artisan wines which reflect vintage conditions and display the terroir of their vineyards.

At Haselgrove Wines, the focus is small batch production. The Legend series holds their top echelon wines, led by The Cruth Shiraz. The Origin series follows at the next level.
