Despite being raised by a winemaker father in McLaren Vale, Andrew Thomas was drawn to the Hunter Valley wine style. In 1997, with 13 years at Tyrrell's Wines under his belt, Andrew established Thomas Wines.

His passion for the finesse and subtle structure of Hunter Valley wines had won through. Thomas Wines specializes in producing leading examples of the Hunter Valley signature varieties Semillon and Shiraz. They source their grapes from a network of local growers who own and operate some of the Hunter Valley's most distinguished sites. Each wine is intended to showcase its unique vineyard signature and express a real sense of place.

Thomas Wines' Cellar Reserve Braemore Semillon and Kiss Shiraz have become contemporary benchmarks for the Hunter Valley. They sit at the top of an impressive range that includes The Dam Block Shiraz and The O.C. Semillon.
