Oakridge

Founded in Seville in the 1970s Oakridge relocated to Coldstream. David Bicknell was appointed both winemaker and CEO in 2002. Endeavour Group purchased the business in 2021. Architects Denton Corker Marshall designed the spectacular cellar door.

As well as their own estate fruit Oakridge carefully selects from independent vineyard sites. They monitor and work with their growers at Willowlake, Lusatia Park and Funder & Diamond at every stage of the season. The Yarra Valley varietals Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc predominate. In the winery Oakridge relies on observation, experience accumulated over successive vintages, and minimal intervention.

Oakridge has a reputation for making some of Australia's finest Chardonnay. The iconic 864 range is carefully selected from single blocks. Next in the Oakridge hierarchy is the Vineyard Series followed by the Over the Shoulder range.
