Vineyard Series Henk Pinot Noir

Oakridge Vineyard Series Henk Pinot Noir is sourced from the north facing Henk Vineyard, grown in rich red volcanic soils at Woori Yallock in the upper Yarra Valley.

The wine is made using a traditional approach. Most of the fruit – around 75% – is destemmed but kept as whole berries while the remainder is included as whole bunches.

Following two weeks of fermentation in open vessels, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels to mature.

Crimson red, Oakridge Vineyard Series Henk Pinot Noir has red fruit flavours with whole bunch spice and silky tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
