The journey is Damien North's, from sommelier to winemaker. From vintages in Oregon in the US and five years as winemaker at Leeuwin Estate, in 2011 he returned with his family to his Yarra Valley roots to establish his Journey Wines label.

Pinot Noir is his first love, but he is also a dab hand at producing refined Shiraz and Chardonnay. Journey Wines source fruit from several distinguished vineyards, turning to the Yarra Valley for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and Heathcote for Shiraz and Fiano. The wines, made at the Medhurst winery in the Yarra Valley, strive to be an authentic reflection of the sites on which they are grown.

Journey Wines are a boutique small batch winemaker, producing just a handful of wines. They make elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz.
