Journey Wines Small Batch Lone Star Creek Pinot Noir is made in select years with fruit from the Lone Star Creek Vineyard at Woori Yallock in the Upper Yarra Valley.

The fruit is all MV6 clone Pinot Noir. Most is crushed into open fermenters while a small proportion is left as whole bunches.

After fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine matures in new and seasoned barriques for nearly a year. Just four small parcels are chosen for the final blend, racked to tank and bottled without filtration.

Red purple, Journey Small Batch Lone Star Creek Pinot Noir is earthy and textural with red fruit flavours. Cellaring potential is seven years.
