A long way from their native Scotland, George Smith and John Banks founded All Saints Estate at Wahgunyah in 1864. Purchased in 1992 by the Brown family of Milawa, it is now run by Eliza Brown with siblings Angela and Nick.
By 1873 All Saints Estate had won the first ever gold medal for Australian wine at the London International Exhibition. Their deep sandy loam soils derive from granite and are influenced by the Murray River that runs alongside the vineyard. All Saints Estate's Midflat Shiraz and Old Muscat Blocks were planted just after World War I. The vines have deep reaching roots that produce rich, complex fruit that express the character of their location.
All Saints Estate’s fortified wines are Australian wine icons. Their top wines are the Museum Muscat and Muscadelle, with the Rare Rutherglen and Grand Rutherglen tiers following. They also produce premium Durif and Shiraz.
