Grand Rutherglen Muscat
Wine
All Saints Estate Grand Rutherglen Muscat is made from Brown Muscat grapes (an old strain of Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains) from vineyards in Wahgunyah that date back to the 1920s.
All Saints Estate established it reputation for fortified wines winning Australia's first international wine gold medal at the London International Exhibition in 1873 for a sweet blend of Shiraz and Muscat.
The wine is a blend of Muscat of various ages, sweetness and flavours. It strikes an impressive balance between aged and younger stock. The resulting wine is greater than any of its individual components.
Deep dark brown, All Saints Estate Grand Rutherglen Muscat is full bodied with rich raisin characters and a lingering finish. Drink within a year of purchase.
