Stella Bella

In 1996 Janice McDonald and Stuart Pym acquired the southernmost vineyard in Margaret River and established Suckfizzle. Intent on encapsulating southern Margaret River provenance, in 1999 they started Stella Bella to diversify their brand.

Stella Bella operate five small vineyards throughout the southern Margaret River. Their best known Suckfizzle Vineyard is surrounded by the Indian Ocean to the west, the Southern Ocean to the south and the Blackwood River inlet to the east. The mesoclimate is dominated by extreme maritime influences. Dedicated to minimal intervention, winemaker since 2014 Luke Jolliffe prefers organic fertilisers and limited chemical inputs, allowing the fruit to shine through.

Stella Bella's flagship Luminosa range is produced in a Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Their outstanding Suckfizzle wines are made in a Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Sauvignon Blanc Semillon.
