Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Stella Bella Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is a unique example of Margaret River's signature white blend. Inspired by the French Bordeaux Graves style, it is typically 65% Sauvignon Blanc 35% Semillon.

It is a single vineyard wine grown at the very southern end of Margaret River. The prevailing Antarctic winds create distinction and character in the grapes. The salty, sea sprayed fruit has unique flavour.

Each variety is vinified separately. Whole bunch pressed, the free run juice ferments in 100 per cent new French oak barrels. After fermentation the new oak is reduced to half for barrel ageing.

In December of the vintage year the component wines are racked off gross lees and blended. Further barrel ageing with bâtonnage (stirring on lees) follows.

Pale straw green, Stella Bella Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is vibrant with remarkable minerality. Focused acidity creates beautiful length of flavour. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
