In 1990 Australian Jeff Burch and Canadian born Pascal Marchand met in a small village in Burgundy, France. Their shared passion for Pinot Noir sealed their friendship and in 2007 they formed Marchand & Burch.

Their collaborative energy is focused on the Great Southern region, in the pursuit of an ultimate expression of New World terroir. Planted by the Burch family in 2005, their wild and remote Mount Barrow vineyard is at the heart of Marchand & Burch. Facing the formidable Southern Ocean and situated on granite outcrops, the vineyard experiences the inland movement of cold ocean air, yielding complex flavours and distinct character.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir lead Marchand & Burch's Australian Collection; the Villages wines follow. Their French Collection is built on Pascal Marchand's Côte d'Or Burgundy connections.
