In 1984 school teacher Lindsay McCall founded Paringa Estate after purchasing a derelict orchard on Paringa Road. Having grown up in dairy farming, Lindsay's lifelong dream was to establish his own vineyard. His first vintage was in 1988.
Paringa Estate is located at Red Hill in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Fruit is sourced from estate managed vineyards as well as other carefully selected local sites. It is picked only from mature, low yielding vines. Unafraid of individuality Lindsay McCall is passionate, focused on fruit quality, and hands on in the winery. Full of varietal flavour and complexity, Paringa Estate wines are highly individual and detailed.
Paringa Estate is one of the most awarded wineries in Australia. Their flagships are the iconic The Paringa Series Chardonnay and Pinot Noir made in small quantities and only in excellent vintages.
