Alison and Neil Paulett founded Pauletts in 1983, buying a historic vineyard in the Clare Valley region which was only just starting to make a name for itself. Today Pauletts is helmed by their son Matthew and his wife Ali.

Located in the picturesque vista of Polish Hill River, Pauletts is ideally suited to Riesling. The soil's minerality and natural acidity combines with good winter rains, hot summer days, cool nights and a long ripening period to produce fresh, flinty flavours. These same conditions produce smooth, restrained red wines. The vines are unirrigated and underplanted with clovers and medics to provide natural mulch. A small batch winery Pauletts choose quality over yields.

Pauletts produce wines that speak of vintage, variety and their Polish Hill River site. Known for Riesling, their Aged Release Riesling and Antonina Riesling lead. Andreas Shiraz leads their reds.
