David Gleave and John Ratcliffe always believed there was more to Grenache than its blending properties. In 2005 they decided to prove it and established Willunga 100 Wines at McLaren Vale.

Willunga 100 Wines plays on McLaren Vale's diversity and rich resource of gnarled old vines to showcase the breadth of what Grenache is capable of. Working closely with their growers, they source from dry grown bush vines across McLaren Vale – from the warmer Willunga area to the slightly cooler Blewitt Springs and McLaren Flat. McLaren Vale's Mediterranean climate, with sea breezes from Gulf St Vincent, deliver flavourful fruit.

Led by The Tithing Grenache, Willunga 100 Wines make contemporary expressions of Grenache. Their single vineyard iterations from Blewitt Springs and Clarendon follow closely behind.
