Trott Vineyard Blewitt Springs Grenache

Willunga 100 Wines Trott Vineyard Blewitt Springs Grenache draws from Sue Trott's vineyard at Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale. The dry grown bush vines were planted in 1952.

The fruit is handpicked and most is destemmed, though a small portion is kept as whole bunches. It is open fermented in stainless steel, receiving gentle plunging to extract optimum flavours while maintaining delicate aromatics.

After it is basket pressed from the skins, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and maturation on lees.

Bright crimson, Willunga 100 Wines Trott Vineyard Blewitt Springs Grenache has vibrant red berry flavours, warm spices and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is six years.
