The Tithing Grenache
Wine
Willunga 100 Wines The Tithing Grenache made with premium parcels of old, dry grown bush vine fruit from iconic McLaren Vale vineyards. It is only produced in the best vintages.
The handpicked fruit is open fermented at high temperatures. In the beginning it receives regular pump overs and plunging; these taper out as the ferment comes to an end in order to retain the delicate aromas of the Grenache.
The wine is typically matured in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels for nine months. After bottling the wine is given time to develop further before release.
Deep purple, Willunga 100 Wines The Tithing Grenache is old world in style, with a powerful dark fruit core, ripe tannins and savoury oak. Cellaring potential is six years.
