At the Winery
Winery
Having made wine for several well known wineries, in 2008 Neil and Cathy Howard established Whicher Ridge. In 2013 they planted what they call their 'Wine Sensory Garden' by their cellar door.
Whicher Ridge is located in Chapman Hill, south of Busselton in Western Australia, on the lower north facing slopes of the Whicher Range. In the rain shadows of both the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge and the Whicher Range, the climate is warm, dry and sunny like the coastal plain. They source fruit from Frankland River, Geographe, Margaret River and their own Odyssey Creek Vineyard at Chapman Hill.
Whicher Ridge is a boutique winery making a range of well priced regional wines. Their estate Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon, Elevage Sauvignon Blanc and Mademoiselle V Viognier stand out.
