Penley Estate is the amalgamation of two pioneering South Australian wine families: Penfold and Tolley. In 1988 siblings Kym, Ang and Bec Tolley decided to put the Penley label on over 100 years of family winemaking tradition.

Coonawarra's famous terra rossa soil is the beating heart of Penley Estate. The region has a cool climate and abundant sunshine, perfect for vine growing. Appointed in 2016 Kate Goodman has transformed the winemaking. Penley Estate believe the mark of a good vineyard is balance, which they achieve through a holistic approach to the viticulture. The winemaking focuses on structure while retaining fruit expression and varietal integrity that is recognizably Penley.
