Penley Estate Tolmer Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on Coonawarra's famous terra rossa clay soils formed from weathered limestone and coloured red with iron oxide.

The winemaking aims for a contemporary expression of Coonawarra. After fermentation and pressing, the wine is barrel aged in French oak for 12 months, followed by six months in stainless steel.

Red purple, Penley Estate Tolmer Cabernet Sauvignon has a black fruit core, chalky tannins and savoury oak. Cellaring potential is five years.
