Winery
John and Elizabeth Mair fell in love with Margaret River during family holidays in Western Australia's south-west. In 2003 they bought a property near the world class surf breaks of Gracetown and launched Grace Farm in 2006.
Situated in the Cowaramup Brook valley, Grace Farm's estate vineyard is planted on sloping hills with each grape variety matched to its ideal aspect. Derived from weathering of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge, the mineral rich loamy soils imbue character into the wines. Grace Farm follow sustainable practices with organic fertilizers, compost and no herbicides to conserve soil biology. Half the property remains bushland, encouraging the native flora and fauna to flourish.
Grace Farm focus on the varieties Margaret River does best: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec. The Reserve wines are made from their finest parcels of fruit.
