After learning from winemakers in New Zealand, Argentina and California, Brendon Keys and his wife Kirstyn trained their sights on the Adelaide Hills. In 2007, they established BK Wines amidst bushland in Lenswood.

Brendon Keys sources his grapes from a selection of notable small vineyards. For Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, he selects from the Adelaide Hills, while the red Rhône varieties like Syrah and Grenache are from Blewitt Springs and McLaren Vale. Non-conformity is the rule. Many in the range are tiny in production. When it comes to the winery a minimalist approach prevails, gently guiding the fruit to the bottle.

The BK Wines offering is driven by creativity and unyielding quality standards. The Limited Release range leads, in particular the Mazi Syrah, Remy Pinot Noir and Archer Beau Chardonnay.
