Archer Beau Chardonnay
Wine
BK Wines Archer Beau Chardonnay, named after the Keys' eldest son, is a single vineyard wine from the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills. It is made only in tiny quantities.
A minimal intervention approach prevails at the winery. Fermentation is with wild yeasts, followed by 12-15 months of maturation in a single new French oak barrel. The wine is aged further in bottle prior to release.
Pale straw, BK Wines Archer Beau Chardonnay is Burgundian in style, with fresh fruit flavours, integrated oak and a round texture. Cellaring potential is five years.
