After 15 vintages in eight countries, in 2009 Paul Nelson and wife Bianca returned to Western Australia and made the first Paul Nelson label wines. In 2013 they purchased their Karridale Vineyard and cellar door.

With 1985 plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and set among tall karri trees, the Karridale Vineyard is the oldest vineyard in the Denmark region. Paul Nelson also works with growers across Great Southern and Geographe, believing that grape varieties should only be grown in the regions that best suit their character. A highly boutique operation, Paul Nelson wines are crafted to reflect unique regionality.

Paul Nelson is best known for his Karriview Vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Loam wines are thought provoking examples of variety, while the PN range is made for everyday drinking.
