Loam Syrah
Wine
Paul Nelson Wines Loam Syrah is made with Syrah (Shiraz) fruit grown in Frankland River, considered by Paul Nelson to be a varietal pillar of the Great Southern region.
The wine is made with an emphasis on minimal intervention, the goal being to produce a thought provoking example of variety and region. After resting for one year in oak, the wine completes maturation in Tuscan clay amphorae.
The wine matures further in bottle prior to release. It is made in very limited quantities and bottled under cork and a wax seal.
Deep red purple, Paul Nelson Wines Loam Syrah is elegant and ethereal overflowing with red fruit flavours and spice. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
