Keith Tulloch

For fourth generation Hunter Valley winemaker Keith Tulloch, the soils of Pokolbin run in his blood. In 1997 he and wife Amanda launched the Keith Tulloch brand, then in 2008 they set their sights on establishing their property along Hermitage Road.

Keith Tulloch focuses on the traditional Hunter varieties Shiraz, Semillon and Chardonnay. They mainly source grapes from their Field of Mars Vineyard at Pokolbin, planted in 1968 on the floodplains of Rothbury Creek. The rest they source from select Hunter Valley sites. At the winery they apply French techniques – learned by the Tullochs first hand in Hermitage and Côte Rôtie – with Hunter Valley characteristics.

Keith Tulloch's leading Family Collection comprises three Shirazes: The Doctor, The Kester and The Wife. Next in line is the single block Field of Mars range, followed by the Individual Vineyard and Estate ranges.
