Short Row Shiraz
Wine
Fox Creek Short Row Shiraz blends parcels of Shiraz from across McLaren Vale. The variation in sites contributes layers of flavour and texture that define the Short Row style.
After fermenting for 8-12 days on skins, most of the wine is transferred to oak barrels to complete fermentation. This adds texture and encourages the integration of oak and grape tannins.
Maturation occurs over 18-20 months in new and seasoned barrels. Components are then selected for the final blend based on their fruit intensity, richness and structure.
Deep purple crimson, Fox Creek Short Row Shiraz is a rich, fruit driven wine with balanced oak and a firm tannin texture. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
