JSM Red Blend

Fox Creek JSM Red Blend is named after Captain James Stanley Malpas. In 1891 he carved his initials into the stone lintel above the front door of his family home, which today is the winery's cellar door in McLaren Vale.

The wine is typically 80% Shiraz, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. The Shiraz brings fruit richness and elegance; the Cabernet Sauvignon tannins and length; and the Cabernet Franc aromatic lift.

All varieties are matured in seasoned French and American oak barrels, 1-4 years old, for 20 months prior to blending.

Deep purple with red hues, Fox Creek JSM Red Blend is full of ripe dark fruits, toasty oak and spice, with long, textural tannins. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
