Cullen Mangan East Block is grown in the easterly blocks of the Mangan Vineyard at Wilyabrup. The vineyard site is certified biodynamic, carbon neutral and solar powered.

The blend is typically about equal portions of Petit Verdot and Malbec. It is wild fermented, basket pressed and matured for six months in new and seasoned French oak barrels.

The fruit is handled as little as possible, with minimal movement during maturation. No fining and only the slightest filtration ensure the wine is a true expression of the fruit from which it is made.

Bright deep purple, Cullen Mangan East Block has structured yet juicy dark fruit flavours. Refined tannins display Petit Verdot acidity. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
