Petit Lot Cabernet Sauvignon

Windows Estate Petit Lot Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the oldest vines in the estate vineyard at the northern end of Margaret River. It is just 1.5 kilometres from the Indian Ocean.

The wine is classic Margaret River Cabernet from vines planted in well drained loam over gravel and ironstone.

The grapes are handpicked in the early morning, destemmed and crushed. Fermentation is in small open fermenters with regular hand plunging. The juice undergoes extended maceration before pressing.

The wine matures in French oak for 18 months. The final blend includes a small portion of Petit Verdot.

Inky red, Windows Estate Petit Lot Cabernet Sauvignon is nuanced and complex with perfectly ripe tannins, integrated oak and a very long finish. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
