Chardonnay

Innocent Bystander Chardonnay is made with predominantly handpicked Yarra Valley fruit. The region's cool climate is well suited to Chardonnay.

The fruit is whole bunch pressed with the juice split into tank and barrel ferments. The barrel portion see partial indigenous yeast fermentation and nine months of ageing. There is no malolactic fermentation to maintain the wine's natural acidity.

Bright straw, Innocent Bystander Chardonnay is a crisp wine with a stone fruit core and citrus pithy texture. Cellaring potential is four years.
