Bicknell fc Applecross Chardonnay is sourced from the close planted Applecross Vineyard, perched on a steep hill in Gladysdale in the upper Yarra Valley. The site is leased by the Bicknells.

The fruit is whole bunch pressed to seasoned French oak for wild fermentation. At dryness, the wine is sulphured on lees to prevent malolactic fermentation. After maturation it is blended to tank for bottling.

Pale straw, Bicknell fc Applecross Chardonnay is a flawless Yarra Valley Chardonnay. It has beautiful fruit purity and driving minerality. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
