Wine
Ten Minutes by Tractor McCutcheon Pinot Noir is sourced from the highest performing blocks of the estate's McCutcheon Vineyard. It is made only in years that reach a quality benchmark.
McCutcheon Vineyard's Ridge Block typically provides the fruit; reaching 200 metres altitude, it is the winery's highest Pinot Noir block. All the fruit is handpicked.
The grapes are carefully destemmed to ensure the berries are kept whole. They are chilled in stainless steel tanks, then fermented with natural yeasts. During the ferment, the juice sees pump overs with some plunging towards the end.
After up to 30 days on skins, the wine is pressed and transferred to one third new French oak barrels. Here it sees natural malolactic fermentation and around 12 months of maturation.
Deep vermillion, Ten Minutes by Tractor McCutcheon Pinot Noir is a muscular with coiled dark fruit power. Hints of spice, plentiful acidity and drying tannins provide balance.
A modern Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
