Prendiville Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Sandalford Prendiville Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the top performing blocks of old vine Cabernet on the winery's Wilyabrup vineyard. It is only produced in the best Margaret River vintages.

The grapes are handpicked, destemmed and crushed into small fermenters, then inoculated with a select yeast. The fermenting juice is pumped over by hand twice daily, optimizing colour, flavour and tannin extraction.

At the end of the ferment, the wine is pressed and transferred to French oak barrels, 70% new. The best barrels are chosen for the final blend after 12 months of ageing.

Dark ruby red, Sandalford Prendiville Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon has abundant dark berry flavours and fine yet powerful tannins underpinned by refreshing lingering acidity.

Only a limited quantity of individually numbered bottles are released. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
