Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Sandalford Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is drawn from the winery's estate vineyard at Wilyabrup in Margaret River, one of the largest and oldest vineyards in the region.
The grapes are crushed, destemmed and undergo fermentation in small fermenters. Pump overs optimize the extraction of colour, flavour and tannins. Near the end of the ferment the wine is pressed.
The free run and pressings are kept as one. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is racked and transferred to 25% new French oak barrels to mature for 14 months.
Cherry red, Sandalford Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon has sweet berry flavours with savoury spice and soft tannins lending structure. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
