Traditionale Riesling
Wine
Pikes Traditionale Riesling is a blend of estate grown Polish Hill River fruit and select parcels from a handful of other Clare Valley growers.
The fruit is harvested in the cool of the night and is promptly delivered to the winery. It is almost immediately chilled down and pressed, minimizing skin contact with the juice and keeping the fruit flavours bright and fresh.
Only the finest free run juice is used. It is inoculated with neutral yeast culture and fermented slowly at low temperatures. The wine remains on lees in stainless steel for three months prior to bottling.
Pale green, Pikes Traditionale Riesling has fresh citrus flavours, a crisp spine of acidity and a dry finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
