Wine
Pierro L.T.C Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is typically 50% Semillon and 45% Sauvignon Blanc, with the final 5% made up of a 'little touch of Chardonnay'.
Pierro's Dr Mike Peterkin is believed to have produced Australia's first Semillon Sauvignon Blanc. Though he borrowed the blend from the French, he made the style his own, emphasizing aroma, freshness and fruit flavours.
The fruit is handpicked, hand sorted and gently whole bunch pressed. Around 20% of the juice is fermented and matured in French oak, while the remainder is fermented and matured in stainless steel.
A pale lemon hue, Pierro L.T.C. Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is lively and fresh with pure citrus flavours, a tight structure and a zesty acid finish. Cellaring potential is three years.
