Wine
Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz was first made in 1959. It is named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 from which the wine was originally sourced.
A classic, warm climate Australian Shiraz, today it is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley well represented alongside McLaren Vale, Padthaway and Langhorne Creek. It matures in seasoned American oak for a year before release.
Inky garnet, Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz is full and expansive with sweet tannins, balanced acidity and a firm, assertive finish. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
