Wine
Moorilla Cloth Label Late Disgorged is made in an aperitif style. The flagship wine, it is an equal blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the St. Matthias Vineyard in the Tamar Valley.
The Cloth Label range pays tribute to Moorilla founder Claudio Alcorso who created the textile label Sheridan over a glass of wine in 1967. Each fabric bottle label is printed with natural dyes and hand applied.
Daring and artisanal, it ages quietly for nearly a decade on lees, including 18 months under cork. A touch of a young liqueur base is added when the yeast lees are removed, softening the wine's dryness.
Bright golden straw, Moorilla Cloth Label Late Disgorged has grapefruit driven acidity, creamy texture and layers of savoury minerality. Drink now.
