Yarra Valley Nebbiolo
Wine
Luke Lambert Wines Yarra Valley Nebbiolo is considered the pioneering Yarra Valley Nebbiolo. Luke Lambert was inspired by his travels to Piedmont in Italy, where the variety originates.
The fruit is handpicked, destemmed and fermented using wild yeasts. After extended time on skins, the wine is pressed for maturation in large Slovenian and French oak foudre (vats). The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
Garnet red, Luke Lambert Wines Yarra Valley Nebbiolo has fresh acidity and fine powdery tannins with a long, perfumed finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
