S.R.S. Karridale Sauvignon Blanc
Wine
Flametree S.R.S Karridale Sauvignon Blanc is part of the Sub Regional Series, a collection of wines sourced from areas of Margaret River in which they excel.
Karridale, in the southernmost reaches of Margaret River, provides the Sauvignon Blanc. All the grapes are machine harvested, chilled and lightly pressed.
The first cut of light pressings is taken. This turbid juice is ideal for crafting complex flavours. Around half is wild fermented in new and seasoned French oak barrels; the rest is inoculated for fermentation in stainless steel.
Pale lemon, Flametree S.R.S Karridale Sauvignon Blanc is a savoury wine, focusing more on texture and complexity than fruit power. Cellaring potential is three years.
