Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling

Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling is sourced from the late Colin Kroehn's Eden Valley vineyard. He tended the vines, planted in 1912, for 66 years.

The handpicked fruit is destemmed in small batches without crushing to fill the press exactly. The free run juice is fermented in small tanks with the temperature kept at 11-14°C, retaining a high level of natural acidity.

The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered to capture the essence of the vineyard – or indeed to hold a looking glass to it.

Pale green, Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling is taut and concentrated, with lingering fruit richness and linear acidity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
