Dalwhinnie Moonambel Chardonnay is grown in the estate vineyard near Moonambel in the heart of the Pyrenees. In the vineyard, hungry sedimentary soils keep yields in check and fruit quality high.

The vineyard is operated on organic viticultural principles, with the vines cane pruned by hand. The site is totally frost free which enables the grapes to reach optimum ripeness before harvesting.

The handpicked fruit is whole bunch pressed, then the juice ferments in French oak barrels. After maturing for a further nine months in oak, the wine is prepared for bottling.

Bright pale straw, Dalwhinnie Moonambel Chardonnay has limey citrus power, intense focus and defined acidity building to a persistent finish. Cellaring potential is six years.
