Young Vines Riesling

Crawford River Young Vines Riesling draws on the estate's younger plantings from 2000 and 2010. It is stylistically distinct from the wine produced from the original 1975 vines.

The handpicked fruit is brought to the winery in small parcels. The juice is cool fermented to dryness in stainless steel tanks, and depending on the fruit, may undergo extended lees ageing.

Pale straw, Crawford River Young Vines Riesling has citrus and stone fruit flavours, chalky texture and taut, persistent acidity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
