Porongurup Riesling
Wine
Castle Rock Estate Porongurup Riesling is sourced from the cool climate estate vineyard, nestled on the eastern slopes of the Porongurup mountain in Western Australia.
The winery is built on two levels, using the natural slope of the land and allowing the grapes to be gravity fed at every stage of the winemaking – not pumped. This reduces contact with the skins and seeds, preserving pure varietal characters in the wine.
Pale straw green, Castle Rock Estate Porongurup Riesling has a tightly wound structure, rich citrus flavours and a core of natural acidity. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
