Whispering Hill Mount Barker Riesling

Capel Vale Whispering Hill Mount Barker Riesling draws from select rows of the Whispering Hill Vineyard, grown in ancient granitic soils. The site overlooks the Porongurup Ranges.

The vines are a single Riesling clone and are very low yielding. After a long cool ferment, the wine is fined, filtered and bottled as quickly as possible to retain its aromatics. It is only released in years when full varietal flavour is achieved.

Straw green, Capel Vale Whispering Hill Mount Barker Riesling offers citrus and mineral characters extending to a crisp finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
