The Sixties Block
Wine
Campbells The Sixties Block is an intriguing blend of Spanish and Portuguese varieties including Carignan, Souzao, Tinta Madeira, Tinta Amarella, Tinta Cão, Xeres and Cornifesto.
The grapes are fermented on skins for seven days. The wine spends 12 months in one, two and three year old French and American oak barrels prior to release. Careful oak selection weaves the wine together.
Vibrant purple, Campbells The Sixties Block is medium bodied with vibrant dark fruit flavours, finishing with chewy tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
