Brokenwood Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay is inspired by the success their neighbour (at Beechworth) Rick Kinzbrunner had with his Giaconda Chardonnay. Indigo Vineyard is located right next door.

At the winery the wine expresses its Beechworth origins with minimal winemaking input. The handpicked fruit is whole bunch pressed into new and seasoned French oak with extended lees contact.

Straw green, Brokenwood Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay has bright citrus flavours with a zesty acid line running through to the finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
