Bass Phillip Premium Chardonnay is drawn from an original 1979 planting in the mineral rich soils, high humidity and cool temperatures of the Leongatha vineyard.

Less than one acre is planted. The fruit is close planted, cropped at incredibly low levels, and no toxic chemicals are used.

The wine is made by paying undivided attention to the detail in the vineyard and winery. Matured in new French oak, it is bottled without fining or filtration.

Bright straw yellow, Bass Phillip Premium Chardonnay has vibrant citrus flavours, firm underlying acidity and excellent length. Cellaring potential is eight years.
