Bass Phillip Estate Chardonnay is grown in the winery's original Leongatha vineyard in the deep mineral rich soils and cool temperatures of South Gippsland.

The vineyards have been organic since 1993 and biodynamic since 2002. The wine is made in a simple and traditional manner, with low cropped vineyards, no irrigation and minimal intervention at the winery.

Straw green, Bass Phillip Estate Chardonnay has ripe citrus flavours, pronounced minerality and vibrant acidity. Cellaring potential is six years.
