Alkoomi Wandoo Semillon is produced from a single block of estate grown Semillon vines planted in 1987 in Frankland River.

Like each wine in Alkoomi's Icon range, Wandoo Semillon is named after a variety of eucalypt.

Half of the free run juice is fermented in French oak barrels, while the remainder is fermented in stainless steel. After five months on lees, the components are blended for bottling.

Pale yellow with green flecks, Alkoomi Wandoo Semillon has intense citrus flavours, toasty, savoury spice and flinty acidity. Cellaring potential is eight years.
